A limited edition is a replication of a work of art made from a master image, and which is made in batches of a set quantity and size. A limited edition may be created from a hand-created original or may be created using more advanced technology.
An open edition print is also a replication of a work of art from a master image, and which is available in an unlimited quantity for that size.
A museum quality fine art print must be on archival paper that accurately represents the creative vision (tone, color, mood, perspective) of the artist for the image and ensures the longevity of the artwork.
(zhee-KLAY) is a neologism coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made on inkjet printers. The name originally applied to fine art prints created on IRIS printers in a process invented in the late 1980s but has since come to mean any inkjet print.
The shipping time is typically between 1-3 weeks depending on the destination. Each print is custom tube packed and shipped using a white glove process.
